Visit Great Ocean Road

 Visit Great Ocean Road

www.visitgreatoceanroad.org.au

This official tourism website was created for Geelong Otway Tourism to connect Great Ocean Road visitors with local services.

We used Drupal to create the CMS (Content Management System) which made it easy for site editors to organise the many pages of information and create news items and other content.

Business members of the tourism association each have a page that is automatically drawn from an ATDW feed.

Unofficial Soundtrack

Unofficial Soundtrack website

www.unofficialsoundtrack.net

The Romans Unofficial Soundtrack is the first in a set of albums that provides cutting-edge music to a voice recording of the Biblical text.

This flash site integrates a music player for the album demo songs and a tech-grunge interface that matches the feel of the music.

It's always fun working on flash sites.

Geelong Interfaith Network

Geelong Interfaith Network

www.geelonginterfaith.com

We were approached by the Geelong Interfaith Network to create a website that would help educate the local community about the different faith groups represented in their midst, as well as providing a place that locals will be able to communicate and share their faith experiences and questions.

Using Drupal we were able to produce a site that allows for member interaction using forums, galleries and an events calendar, all moderated and updatable by the site administrators.

Geelong Anaesthetic Group

Geelong Anaesthetic Group - Brochure Website

www.gag.com.au

The Geelong Anaesthetic Group needed to utilise the web to inform surgery patients of the role of their anaesthetist as well as providing information on the Group's members and history.

A simple brochure website with a professional design delivers this information clearly and also serves to introduce the Group's staff and doctors to prospective patients. The design uses their current logo and colour scheme with a simple navigation and was delivered to a tight budget.

J.B. Scott

JB Scott drupal website

www.jbscott.com.au

The farm machinery dealership J.B. Scott is based in Geelong and required a website that would provide a suitable showcase for their business as well as providing content that changes regularly like a list of used equipment currently available, discounted items, special offers and highlighted seasonal equipment.

This lead to a neat Drupal CMS website design that allows control over every page with a specific section to handle the needs of the used equipment department.

Greens Website

www.greenstapware.com

Greens Tapware expanded into Australia from New Zealand several years ago but their old website did not reflect the difference in product lines and ratings between the two countries.

Their new website not only has separate sections for each country but is run by a totally integrated CMS (Drupal, of course) so that new product lines and other information can be added or edited by staff. We provided written instructions and an afternoon training session to make it easy.

This site optionally links products that are the same in the different countries, sharing some information and photos between the two listings so that editing can take place at a single entry point if needed.

The Peloton Cycle Tours and Safaris

www.thepelotontours.com.au

A local cycling tour company needed a simple website to promote their business, but they also wanted to include a calendar of upcoming rides and a series of photo galleries that could show previous tours.

Using a simple Drupal CMS install we can allow the client to easily add news and photos, and also to edit any of the other information on the site.

Feedback has already been positive with many tour riders enjoying their photos online.

Geelong 2 Uganda

Geelong 2 Uganda - Drupal CMS

www.geelong2uganda.com

This is an interesting take on an eCommerce site - a local group planning to take aid to Uganda wanted a site that would allow them to sell 'gifts' as a way of donating money. As a charity, they are obviously looking to keep costs down as much as possible, so a CMS that they can edit themselves is perfect.

By installing the Drupal CMS with the Ubercart eCommerce sytem we were able to keep costs down while providing all the functionality they need. We also donated the site hosting and made a donation ourselves to help kick the campaign off. We encourage you to visit and consider doing the same.

Mindful Strategies wanted a site makeover to brighten things up visually while at the same time introducing a CMS backend so that pages can be edited more easily, a newsletter can be integrated and other more advanced administration tasks can also be handled.

The result is a redesign that reflects the original concept but adds a level of sophistication through using colour, photography and balance.

Countrywide Cottages

Countrywide Cottages - Brochure website design

www.countrywidecottages.com.au

Countrywide Cottages came to us with a problem: they were listed on many accommodation and related websites and could see from their statistics tracking that people were clicking through to their own website, but this traffic was not converting well enough to enquiries or bookings.

A redesign lead to a cleaner, more attractive graphic design as well as clearer site navigation, some rewritten copy and purposeful pathways to lead viewers to book. The result is a site that will benefit Countrywide's bottom line as well as adding to their professional profile.

Ocean Beach Townhouse

Ocean Beach Townhouse

www.oceanbeachtownhouse.com.au

Ocean Beach Townhouse wanted to cut the amount  they spend on advertising on accommodation and booking websites by setting up their own website to advertise and inform visitors about their apartments.

So we created this very simple brochure site with a nice graphic layout, a photo gallery, plenty of descriptive text and testimonials and the relevant contact information.

Sticky Fingers Catering

Sticky Fingers Catering

www.stickyfingerscatering.com.au

This is a very simple brochure site created for a local caterer.

The site serves as a contact portal - her other advertising leads people to look for more information on her website, which then leads people to call or email to request catering menus.

This is an example of how a very simple but beautiful site is an important part of a marketing and advertising process.

This website, created for The Huon Trail Tourism in Tasmania, highlights four of the region's most impressive locations.

The graphically rich site aims to draw holiday makers to the region and provide information and inspiration. Media includes video, maps, pdf downloads and plenty of pretty photographs.

For this site we worked within the existing guidelines that The Huon Trail has developed for their graphic design and corporate image, while incorporating as much graphic flair as possible. This final look fits the corporate image while being attractive to visitors and easy to navigate.

We worked with the existing content and ecommerce shopping cart, giving the whole lot a facelift and optimisation.

So if you want to buy property privately, sell property privately, or look at private holiday rentals, check out HouseBroker.

Superhealthy

Superhealthy

www.superhealthy.com.au

A local health educator required a website to provide health advice and sell health products online. Regular updates and articles keep readers coming back so the system has to make it easy for the site owner to add and update articles, as well as manage the eCommerce store.

As the solution we used the popular open-source CMS 'Drupal' with an add-on eCommerce module. This gave us maximum flexibility and means that future additions can be integrated easily.

This is a far more effective solution than other forms of advertising as the reader can hear accurate samples of the Voice Opus service.

School Excursions and Classroom Activities
www.cursions.com.au

Providing a directory of excursions, incursions, transport and accommodation for Australian teachers, the website for this startup company had to speak of its professional outlook and dedication to quality.

Working closely with the Cursions director we developed this database-driven site that enables teachers to search through a substantial database of resource providers. The site is also part of a marketing campaign aimed at the providers themselves.

Technology used in the Cursions website includes php, mysql and javascript. It has two levels of administration: each provider can log in and edit their own service details, while a main site admin has ultimate control.

We also worked with Cursions to develop an advertising CD, eNewsletter and statistics tracking.

The design had to be clean and simple, integrating their existing logo with a blue and white colour scheme.
