The website mixes a grunge feel with a professional interface that makes the site accessible to their audience which covers range of ages.

We used a mixture of html, Flash and Javascript to achieve this, and the band now utilises Contribute to make regular updates to the site.

School Excursions and Classroom Activities

Providing a directory of excursions, incursions, transport and accommodation for Australian teachers, the website for this startup company had to speak of its professional outlook and dedication to quality.

Working closely with the Cursions director we developed this database-driven site that enables teachers to search through a substantial database of resource providers. The site is also part of a marketing campaign aimed at the providers themselves.

Technology used in the Cursions website includes php, mysql and javascript. It has two levels of administration: each provider can log in and edit their own service details, while a main site admin has ultimate control.

We also worked with Cursions to develop an advertising CD, eNewsletter and statistics tracking.

One of the largest dynamic sites we've worked on, this client had an idea to start a property listing website aimed squarely at investors.

This site needed it all - a well-designed database, clear user interface, a flash map locator, lots of php and mysql, secure login for agents, an ecommerce gateway for online payment and a backend administration section.

The end product is a website that's clear and easy to use. Estate agents can login, create their own property listings and pay for them online via credit card. Investors can search by location or price and find exactly what they want.

And it was all delivered to a strict budget.

This site's a little different because it's an in-house project. That means we got to have a little bit of fun with it - taking foodie photos and writing our own reviews for the site as well as making it work.

Built with html and PHP reading a large mysql database, if you consider all the restaurants available here this site ends up being well over 10,000 pages and provides a focus for a vibrant community of hundreds of amateur reviewers.

Illuminate.tv provides visual resources to churches, primarily for use on datashows during church services. The primary focus is on short video clips, animations and still background images.

For web implementation illuminate.tv needs users to be able to preview every clip online, allow ordering through a html shopping cart and then hook into the company's existing online payment system already being utilised on other sites.

They also gave the brief that this site had to be moving, dynamic, colourful and eye-catching.

I've used Macromedia Flash for the entire interface of this site, taking advantage of Flash's inbuilt video encoder for all the video previews.

Hear-Say helps people to become tutors for those learning English pronunciation and accent.

The website advertises the tutor kits and links people seeking tutoring to tutors in their local area. It also provides a login area for tutors and admin.

Custom website with eCommerce and Flash

A unique concept, the Mosaic of Mankind aims to build a jigsaw puzzle mosaic with 1 million pieces, each piece showing a photo of someone from around the world.

The website collects and stores these photos through a user system that includes electronic payments. It also previews the puzzle in a Flash interface and allows users to answer questions and link to friends.

This website is a customised installation of the popular WordPress blogging tool.

A colour scheme and branding was applied, then once the site was installed on a host the content was added and is fully editable by the client.

WordPress is a way for a small business or organisation to run a website that they can update without any technical knowledge.

This Melbourne cosmetic surgery needed a modern, funky website with a high-tech design that would showcase their products and services. These health and beauty services include collagen injection, ipl, laser hair removal, microdermabrasion and mole removal. They also use products such as botox and aquamid.

A static site with a Flash intro on the home page, this job carries consistent design imagery with the Foundation's other advertising material.

"Bible in a Year" is a program to help people read the entire Bible in one year.

The website has a dual purpose. The first is to advertise and inform potential participants of what the campaign involves and what resources are available.

The second function is to provide a place that churches can interact with their participants once they have signed up. This dynamic "miniweb" is updatable for each individual church by that church's coordinators.

Multiple technologies have been used to meet these dual needs. While the main public section is done using Flash, the second required php scripting to allow it to be fully dynamic.

A local children's photographer, Leanne Doble wanted a site that could showcase her work and provide information to potential clients.

This site is done in flash, with scrolling galleries, an animated menu and pretty flying butterflies.

All the image and thumbnail information is held in an external xml file, meaning it can be easily updated with new images as the portfolio grows.

Sight Magazine is a Christian news site updated daily.

I developed Sight Magazine and administer it using Macromedia Dreamweaver, while the editor has full control over content by using Macromedia Contribute - it works well.

The site is built using html and php, which allows for more interactivity and other features, like visitors being able to leave comments on stories and a dedicated forum.

I am also a regular contributor to Sight in the form of website reviews and the occasional cooking feature.

This poetry website was created totally using Macromedia Flash, interacting dynamically with a mySQL database through ColdFusion. It is designed to appeal to net-savvy poets who want to publish their work online and take part in a poetry community
